I just started reading your fic Cyanide Narwhal yesterday (I’m on chapter 33!!) and I’m really loving it.

But on a different note. I just read your other fic “Every good intention (is interpolation)” and I really liked it. Honestly it may not have been intended that way but it was kinda philosophical. It makes you think of is your personality how you think it is or how other people percieve you. (I’m probably thinking to deeply.) But I did share it to my dad, because I thought it was quite interesting. ^^

i have yet to watch unknown but from the spoilers i see, i think the difference between yuan of four years ago and four years now is so apparent that it's beautifully and subtly portrayed, especially in that scene where yuan and qian are in the car. i think yuan now knows where to push and pull himself whenever he's with qian? he now has control over the situation—over qian—and i think it's so... intimate and heartbreaking.

i noticed he had quite a 'brash' approach when he was younger, probably to insinuate his immaturity. driven solely by feelings and not logic. but now, he's more composed. he knows what cards to play, and that drives qian mad. i can see the growing desire in qian to have that—to have everything yuan is giving. but i guess there's always going to be this underlying hesitancy and uncertainty that he can't put into words—the unknown. yet i think the near-death experience is a potent turning point in qian's life. the fear of losing yuan forever surpasses the fear of the unknown.

i guess this is qian's sign to finally accept that he had crossed the line between brothers long ago, and his feelings for yuan are now known.

No but the fact Fyodor has apparently been around for hundreds of years actually explains a lot of why he's Like That. Like of course the man who's been around scheming and constantly being subjected to various states of humanity for hundreds of years would be a smug little shit who's intelligence is terrifying.

I find it makes him more interesting, actually, because that means he might not be a super genius like Ranpo and Dazai are- his genius is one that's been cultivated, one that's been subjected and tested to experience over time. He knows how to predict and control human behavior because he's been doing this shit for centuries, has seen so much of history repeat itself personally.

Now does this still raise several questions we're just gonna have to wait for the answers to? Yes, obviously. But at least right now... I think it explains a lot of Fyodor's character in a way I really didn't expect it to.

Hi anon! Thank you so much!! I honestly squealed a little, I know it's silly, but it felt nice to believe in a better future for Checo.

Although I must say I'm intrigued, if you want, I would love to read if you have a potential candidate for that guy with possibly green eyes who is our Regina George, because honestly, when I read the description, first I thought of Max (as they said the person had 'clear eyes, possibly green'), but my Chestappen heart doesn't want to believe that.

My next guess would be Charles, maybe jealous of Chestappen? Oh well... Almost all the Europeans have light color eyes, but I love to make my own Conspiracy Theories.
